บทสัมภาษณ์ของ PSH กับนักข่าวของจีน

1. ข่าวรายงานว่ามีแฟนถึง 2,000 คนไปรับเขาที่ Pudong นะ การกลับมารับงายหนัง เรื่อง " Scent " กับคดีต่างๆที่เกิดขึ้น ทำให้การปรากฏตัวของเขานั้นได้แสดงคุณภาพความเป็นดาวของเขาอย่างเต็มที่

2. ถามว่า หายไป 6 เดือนทำให้ช่วงนี้นักแสดงชายอย่าง Lee min Ho... กำลังมาแรงรู้สึกมีผลกระทบบ้างไหม ?  เขาตอบว่าเขาเป็นคนที่มองโลกในแง่ดี และมีความสุขกับชีวิตในขณะนี้ เพราะเขามีแฟนมากมายที่สนับสนุนเขาอยู่ด้วย

3. นักข่าวบอกว่ารู้ไหมว่าดังมากที่เมืองจีน ? เขาบอกเขาเคยมาที่นี่มาก่อนและก็มีแฟนเพิ่มมากขึ้นทุกครั้งที่มารับเขา และครั้งนี้ก็มีแฟนๆมารับเขาอย่างมากมาย เขารู้สึกตื่นเต้นมากๆ จนนอนไม่หลับ เมื่อได้เห็นแฟนๆมากมายมาให้การต้อนรับเขา ทำให้เขามีความปลื้มปิติอย่างมาก และรู้สึกขอบคุณแฟนๆด้วย

4. หายไปนาน กลัวความโด่งดังหรือชื่อเสียงจะลดลงบ้างไหม ? เขาตอบเขาไม่ได้เร่ิมอาขีพก็โด่งดังเลย ทุกอย่างไปทีละก้าวย่าง และเพราะการเดินทางไปอเมริกานี้ทำให้เขาตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของแฟนๆของเขาและคุณค่าต่อสิ่งนี้อย่างมากสำหรับเขาเป็นที่สุด 

5. มีอะไรที่ประทับใจบ้างกับการเดินทางไปอเมริกา เขาว่าการถ่ายภาพ เขาถ่ายภาพไว้มากมาย

6. หลังจากกลับมา ทำไมเลือกงานของจีน แทนเกาหลี เขาตอบ : ในอดีตมีงานจากจีนมาเสนอเขาแล้วแต่บทไม่ถูกใจ แต่ครั้งนี้เชาชอบมันมาก บทนี้ไม่เคยเห็นมาก่อนในเกาหลี และหนังแนวโรมานส์ดีๆไม่ค่อยมีในเกาหลี แต่เขาอยากแสดงหนังโรมานซ์มากกว่า

7. ในหนังเรื่องนี้ เขาต้องมีบทพูดภาษาอังกฤษอยู่มากด้วย ดังนั้นเขาต้องเรียนทั้งภาษาจีนและอังกฤษควบคู่ไปด้วยเลย และหัวเราะ

8. เขาได้เอ่ยถึงความชื่นชอบของเขาที่มีต่อผู้กำกับหนังคนดัง " Zhang Yimou " และหวังวา่จะได้ร่วมงานกับเขาสักวันหนึ่ง และ หนัง " Scent " นี้ก็เป็นบทประพันธ์ของ Wang Bin ซึ่งเป็นที่ปรึกษาทางด้านงานเขียนวรรณกรรมของ Zhang Yimou นั่นเอง โดยเดิมทีใช้ชื่อว่า " Taste " ก่อนที่จะเปลี่ยนมาเป็น " Scent " ซึ่งทีมงานฝ่ายสร้างสรรนั้นได้ทำงานกันอย่างต่อเนื่องมากว่า 3 ปี กว่าจะออกมาเป็นรูปเป็นร่างได้ ผู้ผลิตคือ Ms. Guo Li Jun ได้ทำการติดต่อนักแสดงชายของเกาหลีใต้หลายคนด้วยกัน แต่ในที่สุดก็มาหยุดที่ Park Si Hoo Ms. Kwok ได้กล่าวว่า " มีแต่ Park Si Hoo เท่านั้นให้ความรู้สึกและบุคลิกที่เหมาะสมกับบทนี้ที่สุด!  และ Park Si Hoo นั้นมีเสน่ห์ที่ไม่เหมือนใครและมีบุคลิกแบบคนรุ่นใหม่ซึ่งนี้คือเหตุผลทั้งหมดที่ตัดสินใจเลือกเขา "  Park Si Hoo เองนั้นได้ศึกษาบทนี้อยู่หลายครั้งด้วยกัน ก่อนที่จะตัดสินใจที่จะกลับมารับงานทางเมืองจีน PSH กล่าวว่า " ผมชอบบท และงานของผู้กำกับคนนี้ด้วยผมนั้นรู้สึกประทับใจอย่างมากหลังจากได้ชมงานของเธอแล้ว และผมเชื่อว่าการได้ทำงานร่วมกับเธอจะสามารถผลิตงานที่ดีออกมาได้ หนังจะทำการถ่ายทำในประเทศจีน และ เกาะ Jeju ในประเทศเกาหลีใต้

Park Si Hoo makes his comeback with Chinese movie “Scent” after sexual assault incident, makes his appearance at airport full of star quality

On December 29 popular Korean star Park Si Hoo who was deeply loved by young women with his portrayal of the funny Cha Seung Jo in ”Cheongdamdong Alice” flew to Shanghai.  Even though after the sexual assault case he had suspended all activities for the greater part of the year, PSH’s popularity is undiminished, with nearly a hundred fans* packing Pudong Airport.  [*ED: "nearly a hundred fans"?  This reporter needs glasses! and maybe even a hearing aid!  Even if he couldn't see clearly, he should have heard the screaming and cheering.]

Park Si Hoo choosing to make his comeback with making a movie in China is obviously well-thought-out.  Yesterday all questions about the sexual assault case were filtered out by his manager and the interpreters.  All that was left was PSH  expressing the hope of cooperating with Zhang Yimou  and how honored he was to come to China to make a movie.

In February of this year, PSH was repeatedly** summoned for questioning by the Korean police in the investigation of the sexual assault case, as a result of which his image was severely tarnished and his performing activities came to a halt. [**ED: Only twice, not "repeatedly" - please get your facts right, Mr./Ms. Reporter, or we'll think the C-media are no better than the K-media.]  Recently, sources indicated PSH would make his return to show business by starring in the Chinese movie “Scent”. The day before coming to Shanghai, PSH gave advance notice online to his fans with the message “See you tomorrow”. Yesterday afternoon as he flew to Shanghai, many fans already knew of his coming, so they waited at the airport from early in the morning, in long queues in orderly fashion, putting up banners and screaming their idol’s name to cheer for PSH.  At about 3 p.m. PSH emerged wearing sunglasses and dressed all in black.  His upright stature and handsome figure was immediately recognized by his fans and an uproar ensued, with fans excitedly shouting the name of PSH.  PSH was very approachable and shook hands with and thanked his fans.  In a later interview, he said: “I was really nervous yesterday about coming to China and I could not sleep.  Seeing so many fans here to greet me made me very agitated.  Thank you very much.”  After half a year’s lay-off, coming back this time PSH wanted most to show his appreciation to his fans: “I would like to thank the fans in China for their support.  I will reward you all with a good work and good acting. Thank you all for your persistance in waiting for me.”  In addition to the filming of “Scent” in China, PSH also threw an olive branch, expressing his admiration for Chinese director Zhang Yimou.  “I love Zhang Yimou’s movie ‘House of Flying Daggers’ and would welcome the opportunity to work with him.”  He seemed to be interested in shifting his acting focus to China in future.  [ED: Come on, don't read too much into a polite expression.]

The movie “Scent” is adapted from Zhang YiMou’s Literary Consultant Wang Bin’s [ED: see UPDATE below] novel “Taste”.  After the creative team worked on it for three years, it has finally surfaced.  Producer Ms Guo Lijun made contact with a number of popular South Korean actors and finally settled on Park Si Hoo.  Ms Kwok said, “Only Park Si Hoo’s air and temperament best suit the role!  And Park Si Hoo exudes a unique charm and modest attitude which were reasons I ultimately chose him.”  Park Si Hoo has also studied the script several times and finally decided to make his comeback by way of China.  ”I like the script, and also the director’s works.  I was very moved after watching her works and I believe working with her will produce a good work.”  The movie will be shot in Shanghai, China and Jeju Island, South Korea.

王斌：有人告我昨天朴施厚抵沪时上千粉丝欢迎的场面，这其中有的人坐几十小时火车赶来只为了看他一眼，更多的是飞机当天往返。我想，作为一个人的施厚是不枉自己的人生了，此生亦因有人如何爱他而灿烂。在这里，我只希望我们年轻的剧组，别辜负了这些粉丝对电影的热望，她们期望着偶像之复出亦是灿烂耀眼的。

Wang Bin : Someone told me when Park Si Hoo arrived in Shanghai yesterday thousands of fans were there to welcome him.  Among them were those who took a train for several hours just to take look at him, and more who came by plane for day return.  I think, as a human being Si Hoo’s life is worth it, his life made brilliant because so many people love him.  Here, I just hope our young crew will live up to the aspirations of those fans for this movie.  They look forward to a dazzlingly brilliant comeback of their idol.
